⚠️ Lessons Learned – Warnings
- 1️⃣ Ignoring Jesus’ true identity leads to spiritual confusion (Jn 1:10–11).
- 2️⃣ Cultural ideas about Jesus often distort the biblical truth (2 Cor 11:4).
- 3️⃣ The virgin birth is essential—removing it destroys the gospel (Lk 1:35).
- 4️⃣ Even religious leaders can totally misunderstand who Jesus is (Jn 19:7).
- 5️⃣ Failing to teach our children who Jesus really is weakens future generations (Deut 6:6–7).
💥 Lessons Learned – Failures
- 1️⃣ Many saw Jesus’ miracles but missed His identity (Jn 6:26).
- 2️⃣ Nazareth rejected Jesus though He grew up among them (Lk 4:28–29).
- 3️⃣ Political leaders dismissed Jesus as irrelevant to their agendas (Lk 23:11).
- 4️⃣ Disciples themselves struggled to understand who He was (Mk 8:17–21).
- 5️⃣ Humanity often believes in “a good teacher” rather than the Son of God (Jn 3:18).
🚫 Lessons Learned – Sins
- 1️⃣ Rejecting the virgin birth is rejecting God’s revelation (Isa 7:14).
- 2️⃣ Doubting God’s supernatural power in conception (Lk 1:35).
- 3️⃣ Treating Jesus as merely human (Col 2:9).
- 4️⃣ Ignoring Jesus’ divinity while celebrating Christmas (Matt 1:23).
- 5️⃣ Allowing worldly distractions to replace worship of Christ (Lk 10:40–42).
🏆 Lessons Learned – Successes
- 1️⃣ Demons recognized Jesus as the Holy One of God (Mk 1:24).
- 2️⃣ Peter boldly declared Jesus as Messiah (Matt 16:16).
- 3️⃣ Martha affirmed Jesus as the Son of God (Jn 11:27).
- 4️⃣ The Roman centurion recognized Jesus at the cross (Matt 27:54).
- 5️⃣ Samaritans declared Jesus the Savior of the world (Jn 4:42).
🌱 Lessons Learned – Spiritual Growth
- 1️⃣ Christmas must begin with answering who Jesus is (Matt 1:21).
- 2️⃣ Understanding Jesus’ names deepens worship (Isa 9:6).
- 3️⃣ Jesus is Emmanuel—God present in every circumstance (Matt 1:23).
- 4️⃣ Jesus is Savior—deliverer from sin (Matt 1:21).
- 5️⃣ Jesus is Lord—supreme over all creation (Col 1:15–18).
🧭 Lessons Learned – Leadership Principles
- 1️⃣ Leaders must articulate clearly who Jesus is (1 Pet 3:15).
- 2️⃣ Good leaders connect Old Testament prophecy with New Testament fulfillment (Matt 1:22–23).
- 3️⃣ Leaders help families understand the meaning of Christmas (Deut 6:7).
- 4️⃣ Leaders must begin with identity—Jesus’ identity shapes everything else (Matt 16:16).
- 5️⃣ Effective leadership points people to worship Christ, not the season (Col 1:18).
