Jesus is attentive, compassionate, sovereign, and ready to receive His faithful servants, even when they suffer for speaking God’s truth.

  1. Resisting the Holy Spirit when God’s truth exposes sin, pride, or unbelief (Acts 7:51; Isaiah 63:10)
  2. Rejecting God’s messengers because their message confronts religious pride (Acts 7:52; Matthew 23:37)
  3. Becoming angry at truth instead of humbling yourself before God (Acts 7:54; Proverbs 29:1)
  4. Using religious authority to silence those who faithfully speak for God (Acts 6:12–14; John 16:2)
  5. Honoring religious tradition while failing to recognize Jesus as Messiah and Lord (Acts 7:52; John 5:39–40)

  5. Trusting that Jesus sees, sustains, and receives His faithful servants (Acts 7:56; Hebrews 4:14–16)

🧭 LEADERSHIP DYNAMICS

  1. Spiritual leaders must select servants based on character, wisdom, faith, and the Holy Spirit’s evident work (Acts 6:3–5; 1 Timothy 3:8–10)
  2. Practical ministry assignments can become platforms for powerful gospel witness (Acts 6:8–10; Colossians 3:23–24)
  3. Leaders must recognize that Spirit-filled truth may provoke hostility from resistant hearts (Acts 6:11–14; John 15:18–20)
  4. Faithful leadership requires courage to confront sin, even among respected religious people (Acts 7:51–53; Galatians 1:10)
  5. Jesus’ leaders must prepare people to remain faithful when obedience to Christ becomes costly (Acts 7:59–60; 2 Timothy 3:12)
