Acts 3:16 reveals that the crippled man was made strong through faith in the name of Jesus Christ, whose identity, authority, and exaltation define the true power behind His name.

❌ Sins / Failures

1. People fail when they focus on the visible miracle but ignore Jesus as the true source of power and salvation (Acts 3:16; John 6:26; Isaiah 45:22).

2. Religious rejection of Jesus reveals hardened hearts that resist the only name given for salvation (Acts 3:16; Acts 4:12; Psalm 118:22).

3. Trusting human authority instead of Christ leads to spiritual blindness and misplaced confidence (Acts 3:16; Matthew 15:9; Jeremiah 17:5).

4. Failure to act in faith prevents people from experiencing the transforming power of Jesus (Acts 3:16; Luke 8:48; Hebrews 11:6).

5. Separating Jesus’ name from His identity and finished work distorts the true meaning of faith (Acts 3:16; Philippians 2:9-11; Isaiah 45:23).

✅ Successes / Spiritual Growth

1. Spiritual growth begins when faith is placed fully in Jesus Christ as the source of healing and salvation (Acts 3:16; Hebrews 1:3-4; Psalm 103:2-3).

2. Peter demonstrated maturity by directing attention away from himself and toward Jesus’ name (Acts 3:16; Acts 4:10; Daniel 2:28).

3. The healed man showed genuine faith by responding and acting on the belief that Jesus could restore him (Acts 3:16; Luke 17:19; Isaiah 35:6).

4. Believers grow when they understand that Jesus’ authority extends over all heaven and earth (Acts 3:16; Matthew 28:18-20; Psalm 110:1).

5. True worship develops when believers recognize that Jesus’ name is exalted above every name (Acts 3:16; Philippians 2:9-11; Isaiah 45:23).

🧭 Leadership Dynamics

1. Effective spiritual leaders point people to Jesus rather than drawing attention to themselves (Acts 3:16; Acts 14:15; Psalm 115:1).

2. Spirit-led leadership relies on the authority of Jesus rather than personal ability or influence (Acts 3:16; Acts 1:8; Zechariah 4:6).

3. Leaders must clearly explain the meaning behind God’s works so people understand His truth (Acts 3:16; Luke 24:27; Deuteronomy 18:15).
