⚠️ Lessons Learned – Warnings
- 1️⃣ When we withhold from God, we harm our own spiritual health (Mal 3:8–9).
- 2️⃣ Greed blinds us to God’s generous character (Lk 12:15).
- 3️⃣ Financial self-reliance leads to spiritual decline (Deut 8:17–18).
- 4️⃣ Forgetting that God supplies every breath distorts our priorities (Acts 17:25).
- 5️⃣ Gratitude neglected becomes entitlement, which poisons the soul (Rom 1:21).
💥 Lessons Learned – Failures
- 1️⃣ Israel gave God their leftovers, not their first and best (Mal 1:8).
- 2️⃣ They ignored God’s financial instructions, trusting themselves instead (Mal 3:7–9).
- 3️⃣ Their spending revealed misplaced priorities and spiritual drift (Hag 1:4–6).
- 4️⃣ They failed to see God as the source of every provision (Jas 1:17).
- 5️⃣ Their lack of trust prevented them from experiencing abundant blessing (Mal 3:10).
🚫 Lessons Learned – Sins
- 1️⃣ Robbing God by withholding what belongs to Him (Mal 3:8).
- 2️⃣ Making money our master instead of God (Matt 6:24).
- 3️⃣ Trusting human effort more than divine provision (Ps 127:1).
- 4️⃣ Living with a closed hand instead of an open heart (Prov 11:24).
- 5️⃣ Believing that generosity decreases us rather than multiplies God’s blessing (2 Cor 9:6).
🏆 Lessons Learned – Successes
- 1️⃣ God invites His people to test His generosity (Mal 3:10).
- 2️⃣ God promises overwhelming blessing when we obey financially (Lk 6:38).
- 3️⃣ God delights in cheerful, Spirit-led giving (2 Cor 9:7).
- 4️⃣ Generosity opens doors for kingdom impact far beyond our reach (Acts 20:35).
- 5️⃣ God entrusts more to those He can trust to give it away (Lk 16:10).
🌱 Lessons Learned – Spiritual Growth
- 1️⃣ True generosity begins with a grateful heart (Ps 116:12).
- 2️⃣ Giving is an act of worship, not accounting (Prov 3:9).
- 3️⃣ God shapes us by teaching us to release what we cling to (Matt 19:21).
- 4️⃣ Learning to hear God’s giving prompts strengthens spiritual sensitivity (Jn 10:27).
- 5️⃣ Giving develops trust, joy, and deeper intimacy with God (Phil 4:19).
🧭 Lessons Learned – Leadership Principles
- 1️⃣ Leaders model generosity with integrity and joy (1 Tim 6:17–19).
- 2️⃣ Leaders remind God’s people of His promises and His provision (Mal 3:10).
- 3️⃣ Leaders teach that everything entrusted to us is ultimately God’s (Ps 24:1).
- 4️⃣ Leaders help others discern God’s voice when giving (Jas 1:5).
- 5️⃣ Leaders inspire others toward radical, joyful generosity (Acts 4:32–35).
