💥 SINS / FAILURES

  1. 1️⃣ People can be deeply religious and still reject the Lord God has clearly revealed. (Acts 2:36; John 19:15; Matthew 27:22–23)
  2. 2️⃣ It is possible to participate in crowd sin, public pressure, and moral cowardice while convincing ourselves we bear little responsibility. (Acts 2:23; Acts 2:36; Mark 15:11–15)
  3. 3️⃣ Hypocrisy appears when we say “Jesus is Lord” but reserve control over our attitudes, words, choices, and private life. (Luke 6:46; Titus 1:16; James 1:22)
  4. 4️⃣ Human hearts resist rightful authority and prefer titles we can manage over a Lord to whom we must fully submit. (John 5:40; Romans 8:7; 1 Samuel 8:7)
  5. 5️⃣ Delayed surrender is dangerous because every person will ultimately bow to Christ, either in repentance now or in judgment later. (Philippians 2:10–11; Hebrews 9:27; 2 Corinthians 5:10)

🏆 SUCCESSES / SPIRITUAL GROWTH

  1. 1️⃣ Spiritual growth begins when conviction reaches the heart and produces an honest cry for God-directed change. (Acts 2:37; Psalm 139:23–24; 2 Corinthians 7:10)
  2. 2️⃣ Mature believers do not merely admire Jesus; they progressively bow every area of life under His Lordship. (Colossians 3:17; Romans 12:1–2; Galatians 2:20)
  3. 3️⃣ Healthy faith recognizes that Jesus possesses all authority and therefore deserves total trust, obedience, and reverence. (Matthew 28:18; Hebrews 1:3; Colossians 1:17–18)
  4. 4️⃣ Spiritual stability grows when believers align daily decisions—family, finances, speech, and conduct—under Christ’s rule. (Proverbs 3:5–6; Ephesians 4:29; 1 Corinthians 10:31)
  5. 5️⃣ Joy increases when surrender to Jesus is not reluctant duty but glad-hearted worship of the rightful King. (Psalm 95:6–7; Philippians 2:9–11; Revelation 19:16)

🧭 LEADERSHIP DYNAMICS

  1. 1️⃣ Peter’s leadership was effective because he spoke plainly, biblically, and without softening the truth about Jesus. (Acts 2:14; Acts 2:36; 2 Timothy 4:2)
  2. 2️⃣ Godly leaders help people interpret confusion through Scripture instead of letting emotion or spectacle control the moment. (Acts 2:16–21; Acts 2:32–36; Nehemiah 8:8)
  3. 3️⃣ Real spiritual authority is not borrowed from a title; it is recognized when truth, courage, and God’s power are present. (Acts 2:37; Matthew 7:28–29; 1 Thessalonians 1:5)
  4. 4️⃣ Strong leaders bring people to decisive response, not mere admiration, by pressing the implications of truth onto life. (Acts 2:37–38; Joshua 24:15; James 1:23–25)
  5. 5️⃣ Leadership under Christ requires personal submission first; no one can call others under His Lordship while living in private rebellion. (1 Timothy 4:16; 1 Peter 5:2–3; Luke 6:46)
