⚠️ Lessons Learned – Warnings

  • 1️⃣ God warns before He judges, but His warnings must be heard and obeyed (Jer 6:17).
  • 2️⃣ Ignoring God’s trumpet blast leads inevitably to disaster (Jer 6:1).
  • 3️⃣ Nations that reject God’s truth will experience the fruit of their own schemes (Jer 6:19).
  • 4️⃣ Returning to “the sins of our ancestors” guarantees repeated judgment (Jer 11:10).
  • 5️⃣ When warnings are continually rejected, disaster becomes inescapable (Jer 11:11).

💥 Lessons Learned – Failures

  • 1️⃣ Judah refused to walk in God’s “good way,” even when shown clearly (Jer 6:16).
  • 2️⃣ They refused to listen to watchmen who sounded God’s trumpet (Jer 6:17).
  • 3️⃣ They rejected God’s Word and despised His law (Jer 6:19).
  • 4️⃣ They chose attractive but destructive alternatives to God’s ways (Jer 9:23–24).
  • 5️⃣ Their leaders conspired to turn the nation back toward idolatry (Jer 11:9–10).

🚫 Lessons Learned – Sins

  • 1️⃣ They broke the covenant God made with their ancestors (Jer 11:10).
  • 2️⃣ They followed and worshiped other gods that cannot save (Jer 11:10).
  • 3️⃣ They openly returned to the sins of previous generations (Jer 11:10).
  • 4️⃣ They rejected God’s truth and preferred self-made beliefs (Jer 6:19).
  • 5️⃣ They silenced and persecuted God’s prophet Jeremiah (Jer 20:1–2).

🏆 Lessons Learned – Successes

  • 1️⃣ Jeremiah faithfully spoke truth even when rejected (Jer 1:17).
  • 2️⃣ God consistently sent watchmen before judgment (Jer 6:17).
  • 3️⃣ God revealed the path of life—“the good way”—for all who seek Him (Jer 6:16).
  • 4️⃣ God declared what He delights in: kindness, justice, and righteousness (Jer 9:24).
  • 5️⃣ God remained sovereign and just even as He allowed judgment to come (Jer 11:11).

🌱 Lessons Learned – Spiritual Growth

  • 1️⃣ True wisdom is not in strength, wealth, or intellect but in knowing God Himself (Jer 9:23–24).
  • 2️⃣ God’s warnings are gifts meant to rescue us before disaster arrives (Jer 6:17).
  • 3️⃣ Repentance is always the right response to God’s conviction (Joel 2:12–13).
  • 4️⃣ God calls every generation to learn from the failures of those before them (1 Cor 10:11).
  • 5️⃣ Hearing God’s warnings requires humility, attentiveness, and obedience (Jas 1:22).
