⚠️ Lessons Learned – Warnings
- 1️⃣ It is possible to miss God’s greatest work while being very busy (Lk 2:7).
- 2️⃣ Political power can be blind to God’s redemptive purposes (Lk 2:1).
- 3️⃣ Familiarity with Scripture does not guarantee spiritual awareness (Mic 5:2).
- 4️⃣ God’s work may unfold quietly rather than dramatically (Lk 2:6–7).
- 5️⃣ Christmas noise can drown out God’s personal invitation (Ps 46:10).
💥 Lessons Learned – Failures
- 1️⃣ Bethlehem failed to recognize the Messiah in their midst (Lk 2:7).
- 2️⃣ There was no room prepared for God’s Son (Jn 1:11).
- 3️⃣ Religious leaders knew the prophecy but did not come to worship (Matt 2:4–6).
- 4️⃣ Later, even Jesus’ own family struggled to believe (Mk 6:3).
- 5️⃣ Humanity often overlooks God when He comes humbly (Isa 53:2–3).
🚫 Lessons Learned – Sins
- 1️⃣ Pride blinds people to God’s humble methods (Prov 16:18).
- 2️⃣ Indifference toward Jesus is still rejection (Lk 9:41).
- 3️⃣ Allowing busyness to replace worship (Lk 10:40–42).
- 4️⃣ Ignoring God’s invitation to draw near (Jas 4:8).
- 5️⃣ Failing to make room for Jesus personally (Rev 3:20).
🏆 Lessons Learned – Successes
- 1️⃣ Mary trusted God’s plan even without understanding everything (Lk 2:19).
- 2️⃣ Joseph faithfully protected and provided for his family (Matt 1:24).
- 3️⃣ Shepherds believed and obeyed immediately (Lk 2:15–16).
- 4️⃣ Shepherds boldly shared what they had seen (Lk 2:17).
- 5️⃣ God chose the humble to announce the greatest news (1 Cor 1:27).
🌱 Lessons Learned – Spiritual Growth
- 1️⃣ God often meets us in quiet, personal moments (1 Kgs 19:11–12).
- 2️⃣ Christmas invites reflection, not just celebration (Lk 2:19).
- 3️⃣ True worship flows from encountering Jesus (Matt 2:11).
- 4️⃣ God values attentiveness over status (Lk 2:8–9).
- 5️⃣ Sharing joy strengthens faith (Ps 107:2).
🧭 Lessons Learned – Leadership Principles
- 1️⃣ Leaders must help people slow down to hear God (Hab 2:20).
- 2️⃣ Faithful leaders point to God’s work, not human systems (Lk 2:1–7).
- 3️⃣ Leaders should highlight God’s use of the humble (Matt 23:12).
- 4️⃣ Teaching must connect Scripture to daily life (2 Tim 3:16–17).
- 5️⃣ Leadership success is measured by faithfulness, not visibility (1 Cor 4:2).
