  1. Practicing spiritual hypocrisy—appearing generous or godly while hiding selfish motives (Acts 5:1–2; Matthew 23:27–28)
  2. Lying to God while trying to impress people (Acts 5:3–4; Psalm 101:7)
  3. Allowing pride, greed, and desire for recognition to drive decisions (Proverbs 16:18; 1 Timothy 6:9–10)
  4. Underestimating the seriousness of sin within God’s work (Ecclesiastes 8:11; Galatians 6:7)
