Thursday, September 24, 2026 — The Perfect Love of Jesus (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Jesus reveals what God-honoring love looks like; the Holy Spirit enables His people to practice it in real relationships.

WATCH OUTS

  1. Do not excuse impatience or harshness as merely your personality; love is patient and kind even when a conversation becomes difficult (1 Corinthians 13:4; James 1:19-20).
  2. Do not let envy, boasting, or pride turn relationships into contests for recognition (1 Corinthians 13:4; Philippians 2:3-4).
  3. Do not rehearse another person’s failures as ammunition for your next argument; forgiveness relinquishes revenge while truth still matters (1 Corinthians 13:5-6; Ephesians 4:31-32).

SUCCESSES / SPIRITUAL GROWTH

  1. Read each description of love slowly and ask how Jesus embodied it before considering your own response (1 Corinthians 13:4-7; John 13:34-35).
  2. Seek the Father in prayer rather than letting busyness determine the condition of your heart (Luke 5:16; Philippians 4:6-7).
  3. Ask God for a clean heart, then welcome His searching correction in the relationship where love is hardest (Psalm 51:10; Psalm 139:23-24).

LEADERSHIP DYNAMICS

  1. Help people name the specific failure of love beneath a conflict, and restore them gently rather than humiliating them (1 Corinthians 13:4-6; Galatians 6:1).
