  2. Quietly believing some people are less worthy of God’s grace (James 2:1–4; Romans 2:11)
  3. Resisting uncomfortable situations where God wants spiritual growth (Jonah 4:1–3; Hebrews 12:11)
  4. Ignoring the Holy Spirit’s leading because it challenges familiarity or comfort (Acts 7:51; Ephesians 4:30)
