📘 LESSONS LEARNED

God can transform the most unlikely person, reconcile former enemies, and redirect a life’s training and passion for the proclamation of Jesus as Messiah.

💥 SINS / FAILURES

  1. Resisting God’s purpose because it requires fear, discomfort, or personal risk (Acts 9:13–17; Proverbs 3:5–6)
  2. Assuming someone is beyond the reach of Jesus’ transforming grace (Acts 9:21; 1 Timothy 1:13–16)
  3. Clinging to hatred, suspicion, or past injury instead of obeying Jesus’ call to reconciliation (Acts 9:17; Matthew 5:44)
  4. Using religious knowledge for pride, control, or opposition to God’s work (Philippians 3:4–8; Romans 10:2–4)
  5. Holding back full surrender because of fear about what God may ask (Romans 12:1; Luke 9:23)

🏆 SUCCESSES / SPIRITUAL GROWTH

  1. Obeying Jesus even when His instruction feels risky or unexpected (Acts 9:17; John 14:15)
  2. Receiving transformed people as brothers and sisters in Christ (Acts 9:17; Philemon 15–16)
  3. Allowing Jesus to redirect past training, experience, and passion for His purposes (Acts 9:22; Galatians 1:15–16)
  4. Proclaiming Jesus boldly after experiencing His saving grace (Acts 9:20; Romans 1:16)
  5. Growing stronger in faith through fellowship with other disciples (Acts 9:19; Hebrews 10:24–25)

🧭 LEADERSHIP DYNAMICS

  1. Godly leaders must sometimes welcome the very people they once feared (Acts 9:17; 2 Corinthians 5:17–18)
  2. Spiritual courage is shown through obedience, not merely intention (Acts 9:17–18; James 2:17)
  3. Effective ministry recognizes God’s purpose in people before others can see it clearly (Acts 9:15; 1 Samuel 16:7)
  4. Teaching must clearly prove from Scripture that Jesus is the Messiah (Acts 9:22; Acts 18:28)
  5. God often turns former opposition into powerful testimony for Christ (Acts 9:21–22; Genesis 50:20)
