📘 LESSONS LEARNED

God often uses suffering, persecution, and scattering to spread the gospel farther than comfort and safety ever could.

💥 SINS / FAILURES

  1. Allowing religious pride and anger to override truth and compassion (Acts 7:54–58; Proverbs 16:18)
  2. Believing violent opposition to God’s truth can somehow honor God (John 16:2; Romans 10:2–3)
  3. Rejecting clear evidence about Jesus because of hardened unbelief (John 5:39–40; Hebrews 3:12–13)
  4. Remaining silent or passive while injustice and persecution take place (Proverbs 24:11–12; Isaiah 1:17)
  5. Fearing suffering more than trusting God’s greater purposes (Matthew 10:28; Romans 8:28)

🏆 SUCCESSES / SPIRITUAL GROWTH

  1. Standing boldly for Jesus even under intense pressure (Acts 7:55–56; Ephesians 6:13)
  2. Responding to hatred with forgiveness and compassion (Acts 7:59–60; Luke 23:34)
  3. Trusting Jesus with your future, your suffering, and your eternity (2 Timothy 1:12; Psalm 31:5)
  4. Continuing to share God’s truth even during hardship and uncertainty (Acts 8:4; Romans 1:16)
  5. Viewing life changes, relocation, and disruption as opportunities for gospel influence (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19–20)

🧭 LEADERSHIP DYNAMICS

  1. Spirit-filled leaders remain faithful even when opposition becomes dangerous (Acts 6:8–10; 1 Corinthians 15:58)
  2. Persecution often reveals who genuinely belongs to God (Matthew 13:20–21; 1 Peter 1:6–7)
  3. God can sovereignly use hostile leaders to accomplish His larger mission (Acts 8:1–4; Genesis 50:20)
  4. Healthy spiritual movements multiply outward instead of remaining centralized (Acts 8:4; Acts 11:19–21)
  5. Faithful believers carry the message of Jesus wherever life scatters them (Philippians 2:15–16; Colossians 4:5–6)
