📘 LESSONS LEARNED

When the Holy Spirit truly changes people, their priorities, possessions, relationships, and compassion begin to look radically different. (Acts 2:42-47; Acts 4:32-35)

💥 SINS / FAILURES

  1. We can admire generosity in others while excusing selfishness in ourselves. (James 1:22; Matthew 23:3; Romans 2:21)
  2. We can become so attached to possessions that we stop seeing people in need. (1 John 3:17; Luke 12:15; Matthew 6:21)
  3. We can reduce Christian faith to knowledge while resisting Spirit-led obedience. (James 2:17; John 14:15; Titus 1:16)
  4. We can overlook widows, the poor, travelers, and those quietly suffering around us. (Deuteronomy 10:18-19; James 1:27; Proverbs 21:13)
  5. We can speak of Jesus as Lord while keeping control of our resources and schedule. (Luke 6:46; Matthew 7:21; 2 Corinthians 9:7)

  1. The early believers devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. (Acts 2:42; Acts 2:46; Hebrews 10:24-25)
  2. The Holy Spirit produced visible transformation in thousands of brand-new Christians. (Acts 2:4; Acts 2:41; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
  3. Generosity became a lifestyle, not a one-time emotional response. (Acts 2:44-45; Acts 4:32; 1 Timothy 6:18)
  4. The believers cared for real needs with practical sacrifice and sincere joy. (Acts 4:34-35; Romans 12:13; 2 Corinthians 8:2-4)
  5. The Lord continued adding people daily as the movement displayed the life of Jesus. (Acts 2:47; Acts 5:14; Colossians 1:6)
