💥 SINS / FAILURES
- 1️⃣ Rejecting truth because it feels offensive, confusing, or “too hard” instead of seeking understanding. (John 6:52; John 6:60)
- 2️⃣ Arguing defensively rather than listening humbly when God confronts our assumptions. (John 6:52; Proverbs 18:2)
- 3️⃣ Refusing to come to Jesus because our hearts resist God’s teaching. (John 6:45; John 5:40)
- 4️⃣ Demanding a message that fits our expectations instead of submitting to Jesus’ claims. (John 6:46–47; Isaiah 55:8–9)
- 5️⃣ Treating Jesus’ words as absurd instead of recognizing spiritual realities behind His language. (John 6:51–52; 1 Corinthians 2:14)
🏆 SUCCESSES / SPIRITUAL GROWTH
- 1️⃣ Let Scripture interpret Scripture: Jesus anchors His teaching in the Prophets. (John 6:45; Isaiah 54:13)
- 2️⃣ True learners of God recognize and come to Jesus as God’s sent One. (John 6:45; John 6:37)
- 3️⃣ Faith is the essential response—believing Jesus is the doorway to eternal life. (John 6:47; John 3:16)
- 4️⃣ Jesus’ exclusivity is not arrogance; it is revealed reality—He alone has seen the Father. (John 6:46; John 14:6)
- 5️⃣ Persevering contemplation: re-reading and wrestling with Jesus’ words deepens spiritual clarity. (John 6:45–47; Psalm 119:18)
🧭 LEADERSHIP DYNAMICS
- 1️⃣ Jesus leads with truth, not popularity—He does not dilute hard doctrine to keep the crowd. (John 6:45–46; Galatians 1:10)
- 2️⃣ Effective teaching connects people to the authority of God’s Word, not personality. (John 6:45; 2 Timothy 3:16)
- 3️⃣ Leaders must expect division when truth presses people toward a verdict about Christ. (John 6:52; Luke 12:51–53)
- 4️⃣ Clarity matters: Jesus states the claim plainly—belief, life; rejection, loss. (John 6:47; John 3:18)
- 5️⃣ A leader’s steadiness under controversy models spiritual maturity and restraint. (John 6:45–52; 1 Peter 2:23)
