⚠️ Lessons Learned – Warnings

  • 2️⃣ When Jesus confronts our assumptions, the heart can quickly shift from admiration to offense (Lk 4:28).
  • 3️⃣ Demanding Jesus “perform” for us is a subtle refusal to submit to His authority (Lk 4:23).
  • 4️⃣ Rejecting Scripture’s fulfillment in Christ is rejecting God’s own testimony (Lk 4:21).
  • 5️⃣ A year can end with nothing resolved unless we intentionally seek Jesus and settle unfinished matters (Eph 4:26–27).

💥 Lessons Learned – Failures

🚫 Lessons Learned – Sins

  • 1️⃣ Unbelief in the face of God’s revealed truth is a serious sin (Jn 3:19–20).
  • 2️⃣ Pride that says “Messiah can’t come from here” rejects God’s freedom to work as He chooses (Lk 4:24).
  • 3️⃣ Trying to force Jesus to serve our agenda is rebellion against His lordship (Lk 4:23).
  • 4️⃣ Hatred that escalates to violence is sin, even when cloaked in “religious” certainty (Lk 4:28–29).
  • 5️⃣ Ending a year with unresolved sin and broken relationships invites spiritual damage (Matt 5:23–24).

🌱 Lessons Learned – Spiritual Growth

  • 1️⃣ True growth includes letting Scripture interpret our hearts, not letting our hearts rewrite Scripture (Heb 4:12).
  • 2️⃣ Becoming mature means receiving Jesus as Lord even when His truth offends our pride (1 Pet 2:7–8).
  • 3️⃣ The end of a year is a wise time for confession, forgiveness, and restored fellowship (1 Jn 1:9).
  • 4️⃣ Honor Jesus by finishing well—gratitude, worship, and surrender prepare the heart for a new season (Ps 103:1–5).
  • 5️⃣ Entering 2026 with “open hands” means readiness for obedience and trust (Prov 3:5–6).
